# Resend a Box Sign request
> Resend a Box Sign request email to remaining signers, or enable automatic reminders when you create the request.

You can send the signing email again to anyone who has not signed yet, or turn on automatic reminders when you create the request.
## Manual resend
Use the [resend a Box Sign request](/reference/post-sign-requests-id-resend) endpoint to email remaining signers.
You cannot resend a request when the [status](/guides/box-sign/request-status) is `signed`, `cancelled`, `declined`, `expired`, `error_sending`, or `error_converting`.
Wait 10 minutes after the last send before you resend. A resend inside that window returns a `400 Bad Request` error. You can resend a request when the status is `created`, `sent`, `viewed`, or `error`.

## Automatic reminders
When you create a request, set `are_reminders_enabled` to `true`. Box Sign emails signers who have not signed yet after 3, 8, 13, and 18 days.
